·         This position has the responsibility of supporting the Mission of the Hospital which is to provide accessible, cost effective quality healthcare to the citizens of Hutchinson County. The Administrative Assistants assigned full responsibility for managing the scheduling, clerical and secretarial functions of the President/Chief Executive Officer, including those responsibilities as related to the Board of Directors and its Committees of both GPCH, LLC and the Hutchinson County Hospital District. To provide excellent secretarial support to the President/CEO and Board of Directors so as to ensure quality letters, contracts, minutes and so forth, are provided in a timely efficient manner. To coordinate the Hospital District general elections with City and County entities.
Position Qualifications:
1.                  Preferred a minimum of two years college or specialized training in office administration.
2.                  Two years experience in an executive office, preferably in the healthcare field.
3.                  Optimum degree of responsibility for confidentiality matters.
4.                  Cooperative attitude and deal effectively in working with board members, medical staff, department managers,
                     community leaders and the public.
5.                  Must be able to work independently and be highly organized and efficient.
6.                  Computer literate in word processing and type at least 60 wpm.
7.                  Willingness and ability to assume additional responsibilities.
