Golden Plains Community Hospital is currently looking for a Executive Assistant. This position has the responsibility of supporting the Mission of the Hospital, which is to provide accessible, cost effective quality healthcare to the citizens of Hutchinson County. Fully responsible for managing the scheduling, clerical and secretarial functions of the President/CEO, including the responsibilities as related to the Board of Directors and its Committees of GPCH, LLC. Coordinate the Hospital District general elections with City and County entities. Manages and performs the process of credentialing practitioners for initial appointment and/or reappointment.  Processes any changes in delineations (additions or deletions).   Responsible for assisting the Chief Operating Officer in a variety of tasks that includes creating reports, forms and graphs, aiding in data collection for special studies, and assisting in the administrative function of peer review.  The individual will possess the ability to work and communicate effectively with members of the Medical Staff, Administration and the Staff of Golden Plains Community Hospital.  This position requires that absolute confidentiality be maintained.
Position Qualifications:
  1. Preferred a minimum of two years college or specialized training in office administration.
  2. Three to five years experience in an executive office and physician relations, preferably in the healthcare field.
  3. Optimum degree of responsibility for confidentiality matters.
  4. Cooperative attitude and deal effectively in working with Board members, medical staff, department managers, community leaders and the public.
  5. Must be able to work independently and be highly organized and efficient.
  6. Computer literate in word processing and type at least 60 wpm, multi-tasking a must.
  7. Prior experience (3 to 5 years) in Hospital quality management or similar background.
  8. Willingness and ability to assume additional responsibilities.
